Kapi‘olani Children's Miracle Network is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of Hawaii‘s children. Its year-round goal is to raise awareness and funds to support Kapi‘olani Medical Center – Hawaii‘s only children's hospital and high-risk maternity hospital.
In Hawaii, 100% of the money raised by Kapi‘olani Children's Miracle Network stays in Hawaii to help our keiki. Each year, funds raised pay for medical equipment, neighbor-island travel, public education, research, and care for Hawaii‘s uninsured women and children.
The non-profit Kapi‘olani Medical Center is Hawaii‘s only member of the Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit world-wide alliance of premier hospitals for children. Children's Miracle Network selected the hospital because it focuses on pediatric care, provides tertiary level III specialized pediatric care, and serves all children – regardless of ability to pay.

Miracle Balloons
The signature Miracle Balloon, a year-round campaign, is most visible April to June, when people across the state can donate and see their name displayed on a “balloon” in retail stores.
Started in 1986, the red-and-yellow Miracle Balloon has become a highly recognized fixture. Today, they are sold in more than 33,000 sponsor locations throughout the world, raising more than $250 million for children’s hospitals. In Hawaii, the iconic balloon has helped raise more than $8 million for Hawaii‘s children. 100 percent of the money raised stays in Hawaii to support the medical needs of our keiki.
