Making Miracles Happen for Hawai'i's Keiki
Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children has been Hawai'i's only Children's Miracle Network hospital since 1984. During this time, Kapi'olani Children's Miracle Network has raised more than $9 million for Hawai'i's injured and critically-ill children receiving care at Kapi'olani. 100% of the money raised in Hawai'i has stayed here to help our keiki regardless of their ability to pay.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals - the alliance of premier hospitals for children, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Founded on two simple principals, help as many children as possible by raising funds for children’s hospitals and keep funds in the community in which they are raised to help local children. Each year the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help over 17 million children throughout the world overcome diseases and injuries of every kind because of community support.
How is this done? By people – just like you – who generously donate funds through the Kapi'olani Children’s Miracle Network from direct individual gifts and corporate campaigns. Corporations such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco Wholesale, Ace Hardware, Marriott Hawai‘i, Panda Restaurants, Credit Union for Kids, Dairy Queen and Foresters all participate in fundraising campaigns marked with the signature Miracle Balloon icon throughout the year.
